So you can't decide whether or not to treat yourself to a nice pair of moccasins or a comfortable pair of slippers? When it comes right down to it, there truly aren't many major differences between the two.

The choice is a hard one if you're solely basing your decision on style, because you've got so many to choose from!

Yeah, But Are They Convenient?

Moccasins usually have a back and may require a little extra manual help.
Although slippers have a fairly reliable sole, moccasins are actually made to be worn both indoors and out. This makes them incredibly versatile.

If you're looking for more of a 'shoe', then a moccasin will probably be your best bet. Usually made of full-grain leather with sturdy sole, moccasins will keep your feet safer from the outdoor elements, and will resist those elements better as well. Slippers will keep your feet warm, but are definitely not made for every-wear outside the home like moccasins are.
