Hard to wear out, but if you wear them night and day for a year or so, you can do it. I'm thinking about having more than one pair in the house, so I can choose to wear almost new or really beat up for different activities.

The Moosehide Mocs are my favorite shoes. They are extremely soft and comfortable to wear. The biggest plus is that, unlike most shoes which have a man-made interior footbed, these have moosehide (leather) insoles. Which means they are breathable/anti-sweat/anti-staining from foot perspiration. The only two "cons" (that I hope, in time, the company will correct: 1) the soles are too thin for long wear, and 2)most importantly, the shoes need to always be made true-to-size. I had to order a 7.5 W to get a shoe to fit and I'm actually a 7 regular. And the shoes are really too narrow. Couldn't wear them if not made of moosehide, which is conformable to one's foot!Still, I would recommend the shoes; but these are my reasons for the 4 star rating.

Received my mocs in the chocolate color today. Pros: wonderfully constructed (doesn't get any better!), love the soles, very soft and cushiony, and these mocs wear and wear for a long time. My favorite shoes! Cons: These mocs run shorter in length (more like a size 6 1/2 than the size 7 I ordered, but they are a 7. Narrower, also. Pleas do not downsize your products... especially shoes! I would indeed recommend these mocs highly; however, size up!

I've worn Minnetonka moccasins for years and was happy they are stiil as comfortable and good looking as they have always been. And I was very pleased with the quick delivery. I have no problems recommending this site to anyone.

A: The vast majority of Minnetonka moccasins are made in their own factory situated in the Dominican Republic. A few styles are currently made in China and from time to time manufacturing facilities in other countries are used.
