I do not like shoes and wear them as little as possible. It's the same with slippers which I wear only in winter. These moccasins are like wearing no shoes. If yours feel a little tight at first, go ahead and wear them - the leather will stretch. I am on my second pair of this style moccasin and I have two other styles as well. Some have hard soles and some have soft. The soft sole lasts and lasts - it is amazing and surprised me. I do wear them in mild damp but stick with the hard soles in wetter conditions. I LOVE THESE MOCCASINS! I also receive many compliments on them and will be buying pairs for my mom and my cousin for Christmas. I hope that they will be available for purchase until I die as an old, old woman.

A: The vast majority of Minnetonka moccasins are made in their own factory situated in the Dominican Republic. A few styles are currently made in China and from time to time manufacturing facilities in other countries are used.
