These are pretty comfortable, but not overly so. Once you've worn them a bit the fur inside mats down and there isn't a lot of cushion between your foot and the sole. Definitely a winter slipper because the fur is very warm. They would pass for a shoe and you can wear them outside, but I wouldn't on a regular basis. Maybe to water the lawn or get the mail but not errand running. Sizing is way off; I wear a half size and after calling to see if I should go up or down a size, I was told to go up. Wrong answer. With no sock and my foot comfortably toward the front of the slipper, I have a full inch of room behind my heel. They really need to make this in half-sizes but since they don't I would go down a size. Unless you plan to wear socks with them, but like I said, there is no need with fur lining. As for width, I marked True to Width but it's hard to tell siince the slipper is too big. With these warnings in mind, I would definitely recommend the slippers.

I purchased size 9, and while I liked the slipper ok, it felt a little tight on my feet. Also, the sole was very thin, with a lot of soft padding on top, which made me feel unstable in the shoes.
Instead of returning it to a retailer, I ended up giving the pair away to a friend.
If you are looking for a warm, soft shoe, this is a good choice, but order half a size up.

Super fast shipping on these great moccasins, at a great sale price. I love them (soft, plush lining)---only comment is that they do run big. I am a 7 1/2 and ordered the 7---they are still a little loose, but fine (don't fall off my feet). I'd recommend them, especially at this price, but do take the sizing into account and don't be afraid to order down in size.

I order 2 pair; one in chestnut and one tan. The tan pair wasn't lined as it should have been and it's not wide enough. The chestnut pair are wider and lined with fuzzy "fur". Much warmer and MUCH more comfortable.

I got these slippers because I wanted more substantial slippers that are both comfortable as well as something I don't have to change out of if I want to run out to the driveway to pick up the paper, etc. They do fit perfectly if I don't have socks on. I realize now I would have done better if I got a half a size larger to compensate for socks as it's rare in Monterey that it's warm enough to not wear socks.
I'm giving the slippers a 5 as they are comfortable, as well as seem like they'll last a good long time. ESPECIALLY for the sale price! I'm concent with what I got and would definitely recommend them to a friend.
