I bought these boots to wear with shorts and short skirts for casual and date nights.I live in a climate where the wheather can change drastically during the course of the day. It can be 85 degrees and then drop down to 50. The boots let your legs breathe when wearing them in hat weather with something short yet provide some warmth when it gets a little chilly. They are also very comfortable. The boots go all the way to the knee with a sexy fringe so they are very striking whether you wear them with skirts or with jeans. These boots must definitely be seen when worn and I would recommend only wearing them with pants tucked in or with skirts, dresses and shorts. I get a lot of attention when I wear these boots and I look for any occasion to sport them. The boots are very native looking. Don't be surprised if someone mistakes you for being from a native american tribe, a chic native.
The boots do stain and get dirty easily because they are made of a beautiful, butter soft suede. Suede is breathable but it can get quite dirty if you are not careful. The crepe sole providesenough support for walking while letting your feet feel as though you are wearing slippers, they are so comfortable.
Can't wait to purchase some other styles and would definitely recommend these boots if you want to look hot.
The laces allow fow custom fit on the feet and the leg so you are able to mold the boot to your calf.
I have the boots in brown which is a sexy rich orangey brown-like color and I intend to wear them through Spring, Summer, and Fall.I intend to get these boots in black as well for the Fall and Winter.
