i found this pair at a roadside stand near the olympic mountains. i was tired of sport shoes which never seem to let my feet feel relaxed and natural. i guess i should have gotten a pair with a sole, but that kind of defeated the point of wanting my feet to connect with the earth. i wore them to hike into the mountains, and it was pouring down rain. later i dried them with campfire, so i guess they are true smoked moccasins now. they smell like smoked salmon and i love it. i try to keep them off concrete, but in the forest and on dirt they are wonderful. i bought a half size small and they have stretched quite a bit - i wish i'd bought a full size small. and i wish i had another pair:), maybe soon.

i have worn my way through these shoes. ive had them for about a year, and i wore them on a daily basis. i cant fall in love with another shoe after i got these. the only downsides, they got really dirty and i cant clean them; i also get told "oh look! theirs a smile on your shoes" all the time.

The item shipped super fast and is of great quality. I love that they are available here without the sole stuck on the bottom. They are hard to find this way.
I would recommend ordering a half size larger as these are more snug than I was expecting.

A: The vast majority of Minnetonka moccasins are made in their own factory situated in the Dominican Republic. A few styles are currently made in China and from time to time manufacturing facilities in other countries are used.
