    My 3 year old was dead set on getting a pair of blue moccasins because he has a book in which Daniel Boone has blue moccasins. These are nice, comfortable shoes that he can wear to school as well as around the house (I got the ones with the hard soles--which are still flexible). Plus, the blue is a muted slate color, which will actually match more things than I thought (not that that's a high priority for my son). My only concern is that the soles are a bit narrow. This is not a huge problem because the shoes are so soft and flexible, but if your child has wide feet, it's something to consider.
